Governance

Governance structure

BSAC is a non-profit organization, registered in Canada under the Canada Not-For-Profit Corporations Act. It is governed by a Board of Directors, which determines its strategic directions and general by-laws. The Board is elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. The day-to-day operations of the Association are the responsibility of the Executive Director appointed by the Executive Committee.

Executive Director

The Executive Director, acting under the authority delegated by the Board of Directors, is responsible for the activities and operations of BSAC. He ensures the implementation of the strategy and policies set by the Board of Directors.

The Executive Director also acts as a public representative of the Association and sits on various advisory boards and working committees within Canadian and international organizations involved in the development of management education.

Timothy Daniel Daus has served as the Association’s Executive Director since 1998.
