Dr. Andrew Webster, Vice-Principal Academic and Research at Bishop’s University has announced the appointment of Professor Maggie Shepherd as the new Dean of the Williams School of Business. Her term will start mid-March 2025.

Prior to joining the Williams School of Business, Prof. Shepherd served as the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC), where she was cross-appointed between the Department of Management and the Department of Defense Studies at the Canadian Forces College. Over her 25+ year career, she has held a variety of senior academic roles at RMC, including an eight-year tenure as Chair of the MBA program, Interim Dean of Graduate Studies, and inaugural Associate Vice-Principal and Director of Academic Services.

Prof. Shepherd is a graduate of Laval University, Royal Military College, and went on to complete a post-graduate program on Negotiation through Harvard. In addition, she was adjunct for a decade at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, teaching core courses in Organisational Behaviour and Marketing.
