Lakehead University has appointed Dr. Subramanian (Subbu) Sivaramakrishnan as Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. His term will start on January 1st, 2025.

Prior to joining Lakehead University, Dr. Sivaramakrishnan served as Associate Dean of the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba being in charge of various portfolois over the past 11 years, and has been a professor there since 1999. Over his 30+ year career, he has held a variety of positions involved with teaching, research, academic administration, and strategic planning.

Dr. Sivaramakrishnan has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and an MBA, both from India. He worked in the business world as an Information Analyst before getting a PhD in Marketing from Penn State. Before moving to Canada, he was a tenured faculty member at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
