As the successful candidate may have a background in a different core business area (e.g. Management, Accounting, Marketing, and Law), with specific expertise and scholarship in Property Management, additional teaching areas may include other courses in the department and across the School of Business.

Potential research areas include, but are not limited to, leadership and management of property management firms, residential and commercial consumer behaviour, property investment / taxation / insurance, ethics in property management, agency relations and regulations, social housing and social issues, and urban and real estate economics.

The successful applicant will hold a terminal degree (or evidence of imminent completion) in a related field, demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate education, present an ongoing research program, and provide evidence of teaching excellence at the post-secondary level. Pedagogical innovation, including implementing universal design for learning approaches and work-integrated learning projects, is highly appreciated. Professional / industry experience in property management is desirable, as is holding a professional designation or having strong capacity to attain a professional designation.

Your application should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a teaching dossier (including recent teaching evaluations), a statement of research interests, a sample of scholarly work, academic transcripts, and three names of reference (with contact information).
