Research Leaders Meeting | Rencontre des responsables de la recherche

The purpose of this event, is to provide a forum where business schools research leaders from across Canada can discuss topics of mutual concern, share ideas and exchange perspectives.

The meeting is intended  primarily for faculty members who serve as Associate Deans of Research, or equivalent, in BSAC member schools.

Engagement Initiatives and Research Promotion

Agenda

1. Introduction and open forum: discussion of issues and common challenges (15 minutes)
2. Breakout groups discuss most successful initiatives especially as they relate to faculty engagement (20 mins)
3. Breakout group leads share initiatives they were most excited about (20 mins)
4. Promoting Your School’s Research (30 mins)
   • Group discussion about the ways in which you have promoted or are planning on promoting research, challenges associated with research promotion, and successes. We will discuss initiatives and implementation challenges, such as working with different units in the school (e.g., marketing).
